There’s a new header on the site and it was made by the talented november12.
FORMER Westlife star, Nicky Byrne, today confirmed that he’ll be heading to Paradise to play in the #19 Legends’ Charity Match, on Sunday, September 8.
A self-confessed Celtic fan, Nicky has already made one appearance at Celtic Park, when he played for the Hoops in the 2011 Legends match against Manchester United, in support of Celtic Charity and Oxfam’s East Africa Appeal.

Nicky hoping for solo chart success
FORMER Westlife star Nicky Byrne is planning on releasing solo music material.
The Dubliner revealed that his brand new website will soon feature songs he has been working on.
Nicky, 34, who is currently presenting The Hit on RTE One revealed: “There will be music up there, I’m waiting to get all my ducks in a row.
“I’ve been working on some stuff and the website is definitely somewhere I will be putting it in future.”
The dad of two has already met with some top producers and previously indicated that he was working on some new tunes.
But for now, Nicky is concentrating on nailing his live telly performances while presenting The Hit each week.
Nicky admitted: “Getting the first night done was the big one so far.
“There’s a real party atmosphere at the O2 with five weeks of rounds before the live final — it has already been a fantastic experience.”
Byrne’s new website www.nickybyrne.com went live last Friday and has already notched up thousands of hits online.
He said: “It’s great to keep in touch with all the Westlife fans around the world.
“There’s lots of old footage and pictures there as well as all the new things that are happening.”
Nicky and wife Georgina are expecting their third child later this year.
And the proud father is loving spending time at home with the couples twins Jay and Rocco.
He revealed: “Since the band ended there has been a lot of family time.
“Now work is getting pretty busy so there’s that nice mix there.
“I think we all enjoyed a bit of a break and are all trying to find our way in the world after Westlife.”
The star has been headhunted by Australian bosses ahead of his presenting debut
Former Westlife star Nicky Byrne is being eyed up for an Australian move – presenting a version of The Hit.
TV bosses from Down Under as well as Russia, America, UK and China will be watching his prime-time presenting debut on RTE on Friday evening.
They are flying in to see the first episode at Dublin’s O2 to decide whether to pick up the programme for their own stations.
And insiders have revealed Nicky, 34, could be on the cards to keep his host role – taking a TV slot alongside Brian McFadden and Ronan Keating.
A source said: “They will have only seen details of The Hit on paper so far, but see it as being a really strong format especially as it’s backed by Warner Brothers.
“Top people from Russia, China, America and Britain are all going to be watching tonight – and if it goes well they’ll be snapping up the rights.
“And it definitely could lead to Nicky being asked to come across and present a foreign version of it, especially in Australia given the huge links with Ireland.”
And Nicky admitted he would love to be involved with a version of the programme in another country – but only after making the Irish version a hit.
He told the Irish Mirror: “My mindset at the moment is all about making this show a success in Ireland, I’ve always said I live in Ireland and everything about me is Irish.
“Westlife had a massive fan base in other parts of the world, and it’s always nice to be recognised there.
“So you’d like to be able to say I present The Hit in Ireland and if it’s going to go to another country I would love to be a part of it there as well.”
IRISH star Nicky Byrne said his greatest inspiration is US host Ryan Seacrest.
American Idol presenter and dad-of-two Seacrest is one of the best known in the industry.
And Nicky, who is the face of high-profile RTE show The Hit, said that Ryan was his muse and motivation.
“Ryan Seacrest was the inspiration — he uses his site to feature the TV shows he presents and produces,” he said.
Seacrest is one of the hardest working presenters in the US TV industry.
He’s also extremely rich and has been dubbed the King of Reality TV — he is the man responsible for the Kardashian’s multiple TV spin-off series.
Ryan is a multi-millionaire and one of the most influential and powerful broadcasting executives in the States — so it makes sense Nicky wants to follow in his footsteps. Last night, Nicky and Aidan Power presented the first episode of RTE’s new talent show The Hit.
“The best thing is that it’s an Irish format,” Nicky said.
The former Westlife star has said presenting is an area he wants to get more heavily involved in.
He has fronted several TV shows, including Football’s Next Star, and filled in for Ryan Tubridy when the 2fm host celebrated his 40th birthday.
But 2fm boss Dan Healy got into hot water earlier this month when he said dismissed Nicky’s broadcasting abilities.
However, the dad-of-two insists there is no bad blood between them.
“I spoke to Dan and we cleared the air,” he said.
Nicky’s wife Georgina is expecting their third child in October and proud dad Nicky said: “We are happy and healthy, so all good.”
